Ingredients:
- 1 pie crust
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese your choice
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C
Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside
In a skillet, saut the diced onion and bell pepper until they become tender, then add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme
Spread the sauted vegetables evenly in the pie crust, and then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top
Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and cheese in the pie crust
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden brown
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving
